It drizzled this morning for a few hours. One of the things I was looking forward to when we came to San Diego was the ability to grow fresh tomatoes year-round, but I came to find out that beach winters here are still a bit too cold for fruit. The plants have a lot of leafy growth, but the tomatoes themselves are taking ages to ripen. Next year I’ll probably stick to more traditional winter vegetables like snow peas or lettuces.
A rainy morning in the garden.
